Oud-Heverlee Leuven refuses to give up and continues to closely follow the situation around Carl Hoefkens. The club remains interested in the former trainer of Club Brugge and Standard. After NAC's relegation from the Eredivisie, it was long expected that the partnership between club and trainer would come to an end. However, that option disappeared from the table after both parties held talks and decided to continue working together in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie. Nevertheless, this does not automatically mean that Hoefkens will be on the bench at NAC next season. According to Het Nieuwsblad, Oud-Heverlee Leuven remains interested in the former trainer of Club Brugge and Standard. The Leuveners would investigate the possibility of releasing him from the Dutch club. A potential transfer would require a financial effort. Since Hoefkens remains on board at NAC, he cannot simply leave. According to Het Nieuwsblad, his contract contains a clause that requires interested clubs to pay a transfer fee to take him over. However, this does not seem to deter OHL. The club continues to search for a solution to the coaching position and would be willing to thoroughly examine various options. Hoefkens remains one of the top names on the list.
